Huskies take top spot in Power Rankings

Portland, Maine -- The Huskies secured the first spot in the Elite League first Power Ranking.

The Huskies are off to a great start posting a 3-0-1 record, and the number one spot in the first power ranking of the summer season. The decision to place them no. 1 was their overtime win over the Red Wings in the season opener. The Red Wings find themselves in the no. 2 spot.

The Whalers have been the most suprising team this season. Currently lostless (3-0-0) and are paving their way to a long playoff this summer. 

Another team who is seeing improvement from last season has been the Portland Firefighters, with the help of new players including Rob McCann, the Firefighters started the season off 2-0 before dropping the third game of the season to the Huskies.

Team Robert, Pylons, and the Wharf Rats are all going into week five with a .500 record (2-2-0). The Pylons hope to find themselves playing playoff hockey in August as they seek there third time in a row to play for the Elite League Championship.
